She is a big icon in the do-it-yourself-home-decorating world. I just want to know who has actually done her projects? Everytime I watch crafting shows, they always make it look so easy to do on tv. But some of them are really complicated. How do her projects hold up?

I personally have never done any of Martha Stewarts project but my sister did one with string that turned into a pumpkin for a halloween project and she said never again! It was much harder than it appeared.

I guess that's the problem. They make it seem so easy on tv then when you do them yourself, you have a hard time with it. They should make projects that are viewer friendly. That's the reason why I'm afraid to try, though her projects are wonderful, I might only disappoint myself because I wasn't able to finish them.

I have always felt that her projects weren't feasible for the average person. Many take too long or require too many components, making them more expensive than just buying ready made items!
