Default Basket Weaving
One of these days I am going to try this because it looks so cool, but I am not sure where to begin. I have seen a few sites dedicated to basket weaving but they seem pretty complex.

Has anyone here found a book or website that gives clear instructions with illustrations? Are there good basket weaving kits out there?

i think you can go to some weaving shops or some tutoring lessons. i think its largely available all country as people would wanna learn it and some use this skill to make cloths and sell.

I purchased a kit once. It was at work. They had "basket parties" where you could learn to weave and purchase the kits, but I just bought mine and followed the instructions. It is pretty simple and I used my basket for a long time!

I've always wanted to get more into basket weaving so I can make my own wicker-ware for use around the house. You can make some beautiful things with this skill and it's one that I hope to be able to learn without too much difficulty!

Yes, I love to decorate with anything natural looking like wood, plants and wicker. I have baskets above my kitchen counters with plants mixed in. I would also love to make some. It would make decorating with them more enjoyable.
