Default Cross-Stitch Pattern Software
Does anyone have or use a pattern maker for counted cross-stitch designs? What would you recommend I use. I adore cross-stitch and I'd love to make my own designs, but I can't find anything that works for me.

I have only used the free trial version of Digistitch. You can't print out the patterns or anything from the free trial version. I found that you have to several limit the colors you allow if you want an actual workable cross stitch pattern.

I haven't used one myself. I am into cross-stitching too but I use those ready-made designs available everywhere! Yeah, I'm not too keen on originality. Not yet but maybe someday soon...

Gonna keep watching this thread and be noting all the suggestions!

Hi, Christine! It's so nice of you to put up that offer...who else can say no to that? Do I still need to pm you or would this message be enough? LOL! I'm starting to think about my next project this early!

I have seen some of these but never used them myself. I always wondered how they work. I think it would be nice to make your own patterns. I might have to try one sometime.

I've tried the freeware versions, but I have never purchased the software. I have yet to make it through all the cross-stitching I wanted to do, without making new patterns.
